We have removed the many options of smileys in blog posts, discussion posts and comments. We did this for two reasons 1) to help improve the load time of pages (speed them up) and 2) to make the site more professional (we felt that the smileys made the site less professional). Also, very few members have used the smileys option since we installed them.
