Our workers laid off in the beginning of this recession who have not found jobs are called 99ers .  They are discriminated against in the job market that offers 3 million jobs for over 26 million un and under employed American workers . Their UI has run out , they have pretty much lost everything they have worked their whole lives for . They range in professions from lawyers and graphic designers to restaraunt managers . From all walks of life . Hard working people that have many years experience and a good work history . WHAT IS TO BECOME OF THEM ?!?! These millions of Americans and their families ? They have been diligently sending out resumes for THREE YEARS . attending job fairs , networking , etc . HR589 STILL SITS in the Ways and Means committee . The only bill offering aid to our workers . A small measure of aid , not the big bail outs our businesses and banks recieved to bonus each other with , just something to help them SURVIVE . WHY AREN'T MORE AMERICANS UPSET ABOUT THIS ?!?

We will have a tier 5 to unemployment benefit extension, Congress must past a tier 5 extension now, so call them up and tell them to, every day if we have too. thanks KJF 2012
Of course the US must ensure unemployment benefits for Americans until the Mealer Economic Plan can take effect!

Just for political knowledge and poke in the eye fun... Please read my note:

I will be placing myself on the ballot in as many states as possible NOT TO WIN (because 'they' would not allow that, but simply to spread the Mealer Economic Plan and hopefully force a slice of common decency into whichever candidate actually wins the presidency.

All the while, placing notice upon all politicians that Americans are done with their lack of enthusiasm and special interest bribery under the guise of business as usual. Although Allen West seems like a good bet, I have a few reservations about even his political and lobbyist connected past.

We truly MUST NOT have a politician elected as POTUS in 2012.

US Debt holders, especially those who are proudly and defiantly touting above our heads, the fact that America has been wholly mismanaged and controlled by transnational conglomerates.

RE: US Debt to China which is also part of our American unemployment issues... This simple solution is part of the over-all Mealer Economic Plan.

China and the Federal Reserve can be paid off through Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution with coins. By minting several trillion-dollar coins and few 100-billion-dollar coins a US President with the cajones to do it, can flip them at the gathered debt holders and pay them off in full.

WHY would Congress mint these coins by Presidential Directive alone?

Simple: Through Executive Order, the national debt and severe American unemployment would be declared a Nation Emergency and the President would put the CIA, FBI, NSA and military powers under orders to secure those politicians who created & prolong this National Emergency through their perverted transnational-conglomerate controlled and lobbyist pay-offs.

IN FACT, the threat alone of this style of coinage debt pay-off would 'figuratively speaking', place the gonads of the ill-willed lenders in Americas soon to be iron grip... Meaning, it's time to be the greatest nation on earth and lead the way, rather than apologize.

The FDA, EPA and FTC would be put on Port-a-Jon raw sewage-siphoning duty until they can become legitimate organizations and void of the drug and food industries lobbyist funds.

Would you be willing to read and spread the Arizona based Mealer Plan? This would work so much better on a national level, but I have no federal connections except Arizona's Sen McCain and Sen Kyl.

You can read it here

Please keep in mind, that the Arizona Mealer Economic Plan is outlined for Arizona, where I live.

The thing is... When the too Big To Fail groups were bailed-out, the CEOs and fat-cat lobbyists (not so much Wallstreet) made the money and nothing much else was done. Many of the bailed-out companies went bankrupt after they were bailed out and screwed their debtors in most cases.

Mealer Economic Plan is our best bet so far, and not just because I wrote it, but because it will work and not on a six month time frame but a RIGHT NOW kind of schedule. I'm making a layman's version of it, so the verbiage is not so much over everyone's head!

"I'm making a layman's version of it, so the verbiage is not so much over everyone's head!"

A very Good thing, this.

Guys,

I spent nearly two years teaching English in Germany.  One thing that this country needs is job and skills training for the unemployed.  Blue collar jobs are dying and people are not prepared.  Siemen's CEO said that there are not enough qualified Americans to fill the positions of engineers, designers, IT specialists, etc.  But if they need 50 warehouse workers, they get 10,000 applicants.  We must invest in education, education, education.  We live in a world of corporatism and if they want to keep changing the game, we have to be ready.  Community colleges (and universities) can be this answer.  Let's start with certificate programs, associate degrees, continuing education, etc.  We have the means, just no one is presenting the idea.

Hiram,
Please take a look at  http://mealer2012.com/mealer-economic-initiative/ which is a fairly detailed version of how (with the right non-politician POTUS in 2012) we can have the corporations and other new businesses pay for training and schooling (IE. Education, for those of us already out of school and climbing or over the hill, so to speak).

This idea has been in front of a variety of big time politicians over the years, but they scoff at it because they can't make a lobbyist dollar from it.

Hiram!! You positively hit the nail on the head!! WE MUST INVEST IN EDUCATION!!!!!!!!!!!

I am upset about this. This is very bad for Our Nation. I think Daniel Penisten wrote a "Fundamental Change Solution" to this severe problem in his blogs here. Called "The American Earned Guaranteed Income", I think. He tries to address and solve the condition of :

"... the job market that offers 3 million jobs for over 26 million un and under employed American workers ."

The "private sector", corporations and small businesses, because they produce more with less investment of finances and resources, cannot and will not put 26 million Americans to work.

Mr. Penisten's idea of an "American Earned Guaranteed Income" is part of the solution. Maybe the first part. A guaranteed income will buy food, roof and time for most of the unemployed to develop productive value  for America.

Another part of solution, (the second part), is the unemployed co-operating in Worker Owned Companies. This entrepreneurial approach is ideal and superior to working for a few exploiters that reap more than their True share of the wealth from production. This solution has already begun and will one day drive America to new levels of cultural success and greatness.

Of course these solutions will have to be encouraged, guided and energized by the chosen best of Us. The True Elite Of America.

I recommend starting in the glass, electric hotrod and hemp products industries. Yes. These are personally interesting to me. I see helpful value in all three of them.

Where would You recommend we start Worker Owned Production?

Also, I am curious about how many of the 26 million unemployed will become a successful part of this Great New American Movement? All of them I hope.

I totally agree with Hiram Mariner about "education, education, education..." for Our American Workers.

The "Mealer Economic Plan" is mighty interesting too. What metal should We use for the trillions of dollar coins? Wouldn't be gold. Couldn't even see a dollars worth of gold...at today's prices.

And Good On You Sir for your ambition to "...force a slice of common decency into which ever candidate actually wins the presidency."May you successfully strike a harmonious chord in their Soul.

"US Debt holders, especially those who are proudly and defiantly touting above our heads, the fact that America has been wholly mismanaged and controlled by transnational conglomerates." ...which include Our Own White Collar Criminals.

"The FDA, EPA and FTC would be put on Port-a-Jon raw sewage-siphoning duty until they can become legitimate organizations and void of the drug and food industries lobbyist funds."

I wasn't aware of this connection. Lobbyist funds as a tool for certain industries to get their way. Hmmm...some folks think the EPA does too much, while others don't think they do enough. Personally, I think the "EPA" concept is a necessary and good one. I hate the thought and actuality of toxic waste dumps.
