We will be giving more district leaders the ability to have more control over their district groups by granting many district leaders moderator privileges in their group. We want our district leaders to be building their groups and growing Citizens Party support at the grassroots level. We believe that granting moderator powers to each DL will help us grow strong district level chapters. All district leaders should join their district group if they have not done so…

Exceptional district leaders may also be granted moderator privileges in their state group as well.
Slogantag:www.votecitizens.org,2011-11-23:6348963:Topic:313132011-11-23T16:21:25.203ZSensible Sailorhttp://www.votecitizens.org/profile/SensibleSailor

I’ve read several comments with people discussing how we need more outreach and more recognition. I think a motto, or a slogan, a catchphrase if you will, that summarizes our group’s ideals would best serve this purpose. I offer the following:

Be Informed Globally, Think Nationally, Act Locally, Vote Citizens

Let me know what you all think.

Like many folks, throughout my life, many , many times, I've been dissapointed by the policies and actions of both the major political parties. That's probably a major reason why many voters register as "Unenrolled" or (generic) "Independent". And, most folks believe that we should vote for the best candidate, regardless of party affiliation.

Last year , I decided to take some time and look up each of the active political parties and see what they had for ideas. Wikipedia has a long list and I went through every one and every link to every site available. Many of these parties are "single issue" affairs. That type of group will never get very far. But, I have to congratulate the writer, or writers, of the "Main Street Platform". Of all the parties active in ther USA, the (NAIP at that time) Citizens Party is the only party that I've found which has a definative, common sense platform that speaks to most issues that concern the average citizen.

We won't agree on all the points outlined in the platform, nor will any document satisfy every person's views, but the Main Street Platform is probably a party policy that more folks can agree to support than any other in print, Democratic and Republican included.

Good Luck & Best wishes to all
